we are about to get started

The book group linked to St Andrew's chruch in West Kilbride is about to kick off... We (whoever that may be) will meet for the first time on Thursday the 30th of September. Our first book was chosen by Lorna Reid and is entitled The Gift of Pain (Paul Brand and Philip Yancey). However due to my inability to get properly organised not everyone got the book in time. Next Thursday we'll just get together to chat about what motivates us to be in a book group and maybe start chatting a bit about the book itself (we will discuss it properly at the October meeting). That's just a bit of background to get the blog launched (and to claim the name!) - will try to add a bit more about the 'philosophy' etc over the weekend...
